Course Description :
The race starts and finishes at Yanmar Stadium Nagai, a venue that has hosted numerous international events, including the 2007 World Athletics Championships. The route covers the most scenic and historic areas of Osaka City. After leaving the stadium, runners head north toward Osaka Castle, one of Japan’s most iconic landmarks, before running beneath the beautiful ginkgo trees along Midosuji Street, Osaka’s main thoroughfare. The course is mostly flat with minimal elevation changes and is well protected from wind by surrounding buildings and trees.
